Privacy policy

This is a translation for convenience; the German version is legally binding.

1. Controller

The controller responsible for data processing on this website within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:

Katrin Brackmann
Langenbeckstr. 33
45130 Essen
Germany
Email: k@katrinbrackmann.de

You can contact me at this address at any time with questions about data protection and to exercise your rights.

2. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by:

ALL-INKL.COM - Neue Medien Münnich
Owner: René Münnich
Hauptstraße 68
02742 Friedersdorf
Germany

The servers are located in data centres in Germany. All-Inkl processes the data as a processor under Art. 28 GDPR solely on my instructions.

When you visit this website, your browser automatically transmits information to the server. The following data may be processed and stored in server log files:

This processing is technically necessary in order to deliver the website to you. The log files also serve to keep the website secure and stable, for example by detecting and preventing attacks and by analysing errors. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; my legitimate interest lies in providing the website securely and in working order. The data is not combined with other data, not used to create user profiles and not analysed for advertising purposes.

The log files are stored only for as long as is necessary for these purposes and are deleted afterwards. Individual entries may be retained for longer only where this is necessary to investigate a specific security incident.

3. Encrypted connection

This website is delivered exclusively via an encrypted HTTPS connection. This means that the data you transmit to this website cannot be read by third parties.

4. No cookies, no tracking

This website does not set any cookies and does not store any information in your browser’s storage (such as local storage). No analytics, statistics or advertising services are used, and no third-party content is embedded. All fonts and images are loaded directly from this website’s server; visiting the website does not establish a connection to third-party servers, such as Google Fonts.

5. Contact by email and contact form

You can contact me by email. The contact form on this website does not transmit any data to the server. When you submit it, it simply opens your own email program with a pre-filled message to me. You decide there whether this message is sent and with what content. I only receive your details once you send the email.

I process the data from your email (in particular your name, your email address and the content of your message) in order to respond to your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to coaching or another contract. In all other cases, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; my legitimate interest lies in responding to enquiries addressed to me.

Your emails are stored in my mailbox at All-Inkl (see section 2), which also acts as a processor on my behalf. I delete your enquiry once it has been fully dealt with and no further communication is to be expected. If a contract is concluded, I retain the correspondence for as long as required by statutory retention obligations, in particular under commercial and tax law.

6. Links to Instagram and LinkedIn

This website contains links to my profiles on Instagram and LinkedIn. These are simple links; no content from these platforms is embedded. Merely visiting this website therefore does not transfer any data to Instagram or LinkedIn. Only when you click on a link are you taken to the platform in question. The privacy policy of the respective provider applies there.

7. Recipients and transfers to third countries

Personal data is disclosed only to the service providers named in this policy, insofar as this is necessary for the respective purpose. The operation of this website does not involve any transfer of data to countries outside the European Union or the European Economic Area.

You are under no statutory or contractual obligation to provide me with personal data. However, the website cannot be displayed without the connection data transmitted for technical reasons, and I cannot respond to your enquiry without your contact details. No automated decision-making, including profiling, takes place.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:

Right to object under Art. 21 GDPR: Where I process your data on the basis of legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), you have the right to object to this processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation. I will then no longer process your data unless there are compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

To exercise your rights, an informal message to k@katrinbrackmann.de is sufficient.

Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR): You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for me is:

The State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia (LDI NRW)
